Green Sea Turtles (Topic 2)
My second topic is on green sea turtles. I chose it because they are on of my favorite animals and are cute. These olive colored turtles are classified as reptiles and an endangered species. They can’t put their heads in their shells. The males are usually bigger than the females. Green sea turtles can grow up to about 5ft and weigh up to 700 lb. They live in tropical climates with fresh salt water and beaches. There are actually two types of these turtles. The Atlantic (found in North America, Europe, ect.). Then the Eastern Pacific ( in Chile, Alaska, etc.) They both live on grasses and algae.
